To reach Level 01, walk through the faculty building to the southern end. The library entrance is on the left, across from the cafeteria. Level 00 is accessible via a passenger lift inside the library. This ensures everyone can reach the media collections.

Inside the Branch Library Sport & Health Sciences, you’ll find a wheelchair-accessible bathroom on Level 01. Designated workplaces are available, too. Contact the First Level Hotline to reserve a study desk.

The library welcomes 1.83 million visitors. As a legal deposit library, it archives technical literature published in Bavaria.

The University Library TUM has nine branch libraries at the university’s campuses. These are in Munich, Garching, Freising, and Straubing.

The Main Campus library is located at Arcisstrasse 21, 80333 München. It opens Monday to Friday from 8 am to 12 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, it’s open from 9 am to 10 pm.
