“Your dollars will change lives.” Those words resonated deeply within the community surrounding Easter Lutheran Church in Eagan. Founded in 1974, Easter Lutheran Church blossomed from a gathering of forty-three families. They first held services at City Hall before finding a permanent home on the Easter on the Hill campus in 1977. But Easter Lutheran Church always strived to be more than just a place of worship. They aimed to serve their community. This led them to establish the Easter by the Lake campus in 2001 and partner with Loaves & Fishes to offer free meals. The church, located at 4545 Pilot Knob Road, opens its doors every week from Monday to Thursday. From 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, anyone seeking a hot meal can choose between dining in or taking their food to go. Easter Lutheran Church stands as a testament to the power of faith in action, extending its reach beyond the walls of the church to uplift those in need.
