However, its roots go back to 1968 when it was originally built for Tivoli Friheden. It then served as a venue for exhibitions and concerts before its transformation into a sports hall in 1977. Today, the Aarhus Atletik- og L\u00f8beakademi serves as the home of Aarhus 1900 Atletik og L\u00f8b, catering to athletes of all levels, from beginners to elite competitors. The academy also plays a crucial role in national talent development as the home of Elite Kraft Center Vest. Inside, the revitalized space is buzzing with energy. Athletes train in the running track and field facilities while others use the state-of-the-art strength and cardio training areas.
