Donghua University Sports Hall is more than just a building. It is a place where students gather. They train. They compete. It is located on the Yan’an Road Campus. The hall offers many sports facilities.

Inside the Campus Stadium you can find various rooms. There is a rock-climbing room. A table tennis room exists. There is also a dancing room and a gym. The hall also houses indoor football and handball courts. Badminton courts are available. A synthetic-rubber race track is present.

Opening times vary. It depends on PE classes and training schedules. Generally it is open Monday to Friday. The times are 6:00-11:30, 13:00-16:30 and 18:30-21:50. On Sundays it is open from 8:30-11:30 and 13:30-17:00. The table tennis room, badminton court and dancing room have slightly different hours. These are open 15:30-17:00.

A word of caution. Do not climb in the rock-climbing room alone. Professional equipment is necessary. On-site professional staff must be present.

Outdoor facilities are also available. These include a football court. Basketball and tennis courts exist too.

The football court has its own schedule. Monday to Friday it opens 8:00-11:30 and 13:30-17:30. Morning exercise is allowed Monday to Sunday. This happens from 6:00-7:30.

Tennis court prices vary. It depends on the day and time. Student prices are lower. For example a court costs CNY 5 per hour for students. This applies from Monday to Friday 6:00-15:00. External prices are higher. It costs CNY 10 per hour for the same time. The most expensive time is 17:00-18:00 on weekdays. It costs CNY 30 per hour for students. It costs CNY 35 per hour for others.

Some important notices apply. Students must show their student card. This is needed to get the student price. If fees are not charged correctly, report it. The number is 62378588. The court is unavailable during PE classes. Rain or university events can also close the court. Each set allows only 2-4 players. Other people cannot enter.

No refunds are given. This applies once the entry ticket is sold. Rain before entry is an exception. If players are late, no refund is given. Also no refund if it rains after entry. Court reservation is possible one day in advance. Pay the ticket before 19:00. The ticket is valid until 2 hours before entry. Reservation is cancelled if payment is late.

Donghua University Sports Hall also has a stadium. It covers more than 11000 square meters. The training field is 42*28 square meters. Another training field measures 50*28 square meters. Simple athlete lounges are provided. Competition offices and referee lounges exist. Medical rooms are also available.

The venue is equipped for indoor futsal competitions. It meets the standards of the Chinese Football Association. The Donghua University Sports Hall provides essential facilities. It supports sports and fitness activities for the university community.
