Can a place truly mend a broken spirit? Here at Igreja Batista Restaura, the answer rings with resounding affirmation. Igreja Batista Restaura isn’t just a building. It’s a beacon of hope, a testament to the power of faith and restoration in the heart of Rio de Janeiro. In December 2024, the church shared a powerful story. It told of Érika, a woman lost in the grip of addiction, finding solace and a new beginning within these walls. Érika’s journey at Cristolândia, a mission associated with Igreja Batista Restaura, began two years prior. She received essential services like document retrieval, medical, dental, and optical care. She even completed a vocational course, becoming a certified caregiver for the elderly. Most importantly, Érika reconnected with her family and found faith. Her baptism marked a powerful moment of transformation, a true restoration of her life. Igreja Batista Restaura believes in the power of Christ to heal and restore. Their motto, “ELE RESTAURA” (He Restores), encapsulates this belief. On New Year’s Eve 2024, Igreja Batista Restaura held a special Gratitude and Communion service, a fitting end to a year filled with stories of renewal. Earlier that month, on December 15th, the church also hosted a moving Christmas Cantata. These events underscore the vibrant life and community within Igreja Batista Restaura. It’s a place where lives are rebuilt and hope is rekindled.
