It boasted an impressive 11.5 hectares of pure watery fun. Located near the Hungaroring in Mogyoród, Aquaréna was just a short 15-minute trip from Budapest. Aquarena was a true water wonderland. It offered a staggering 1.5 kilometers of slides. Think about that for a moment. That’s enough twists, turns, and drops to make your head spin. There were 28 different slides in all, each promising a unique thrill. Beyond the slides, Aquarena offered a variety of ways to cool off and unwind. You could take a dip in the refreshing pools. You could relax in the bubbling jacuzzi. Or you could simply soak up the sun on the numerous sun loungers, shaded by colorful umbrellas. For those who wanted to extend their stay in this aquatic paradise, Aquarena even had a campsite. It offered a range of accommodation options, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the fun. Sadly, this vibrant hub of watery excitement is now closed. Its last day of operation was September 1, 2024. But the memories of the laughter, the splashes, and the sheer exhilaration of Aquaréna will undoubtedly live on.
