Font de s’Ermita

Located east of the Ermita de Betlem, this spring is a vital part of the local landscape. It is nestled within the Serres de Llevant mountain range. Even in the dry summer months, the Font de s’Ermita often continues to flow. The water from the Font de s’Ermita was essential to the inhabitants of the Ermita de Betlem. They used it to irrigate their nearby orchards and vegetable gardens. The spring water eventually flows into the Torrent de Betlem, nourishing the surrounding ecosystem. The area around the Font de s’Ermita is shaded by majestic plane trees, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Nearby, a Lourdes Grotto adds to the spiritual significance of this place. Inside the grotto, a statue of the Madonna is the focal point, depicting her being venerated by Saint Bernadette. This grotto and statue commemorate the Marian apparition at Lourdes, France.
