Once called Village Recoleta, Recoleta Mall stands as the newest shopping center in Buenos Aires. Inaugurated in 2011 after a significant investment it has become a landmark in the elegant Recoleta neighborhood. Its location is prime. It sits surrounded by museums cultural centers and lively squares.

Before its transformation into the Recoleta Mall this spot was known for its vibrant cinema complex. Designed by architects Bodas-Miani-Anger the Village Recoleta boasted a colorful decor. It featured cinema halls restaurants and shops selling books and music. Street artists added to the lively atmosphere along Vicente López Street.

However in 2007 the complex was sold. Plans were announced to convert it into a high-end shopping center. The transformation took time. Construction faced hurdles but the Recoleta Mall finally opened its doors on September 27 2011.

The revamped structure retained ten cinema screens from its Village days. The architectural firm Bodas-Miani-Anger oversaw the redesign. The glass facade with green panels was replaced by a solid wall. Eye-catching entrance porticoes of iron and glass were added with escalators leading to the upper levels.

Today the Recoleta Mall features 77 commercial spaces. It provides parking for 450 vehicles. You will find shops with international and local brands. Lacoste Levi’s and Samsung are among the stores here.

For food and drink the Recoleta Mall offers many options. These range from fast food like McDonald’s to cafes like Starbucks. You can also find restaurants like Pani Bistró and Fabric Sushi.

The Recoleta Mall spans four floors. It offers a pleasant experience for both shopping and strolling. A roof garden provides a space to relax. Cinepolis invites you to enjoy movies with safety measures in place. Services include Wi-Fi stroller rentals and access for people with reduced mobility. The Recoleta Mall is open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM. It stands ready to welcome visitors from around the world.
