Rowdown Primary School officially opened on June 1 2014. It was a new provision for the area. The school is an academy sponsor led by FAIRCHILDES ACADEMY COMMUNITY TRUST.

Rowdown Primary also has special classes for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. There is resourced provision with 14 places.
