Imagine standing here in 2011. Masjid Jami’ Miftahul Huda did not yet have its name. The ulama and local community deliberated. They sought a name that captured the essence of this sacred space. Finally they chose “Miftahul Huda.” It means “Pembuka Petunjuk” or “Opener of Guidance”. The name reflects the mosque’s purpose. It is a key to unlock divine guidance for those who seek it.
Masjid Jami’ Miftahul Huda stands as a testament to faith. It also shows community spirit in Sukasejati. You will find it on Jln. Raya Setu Cibarusah in Desa Sukasejati. It is in Kecamatan Cikarang Selatan, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat.
Picture the scene after Maghrib prayers. The mosque administrators chat. They wait for Isha prayer time. The voices of children reciting the Quran fill the air. Masjid Jami’ Miftahul Huda is more than a place for prayers. It is a hub for Islamic activities. It serves Desa Sukasejati and Kecamatan Cikarang Selatan.

The main building of Masjid Jami’ Miftahul Huda has remained largely unchanged. Renovations focused on enhancements. The minaret is a simple structure. It has four levels. A small metal dome tops it.
Originally the main dome had golden colors. It now features a mix of sky blue and white. The mosque follows a typical Nusantara design. It has a limasan roof with ventilation gaps. These gaps allow airflow and light.
In 2017 the ablution area and toilets were upgraded. Fresh paint and repaired walls revitalized these spaces.
