You can also find a seat before the Sunday service begins at 10.30 am. A member of the Welcome Team will greet you upon arrival at Dodds Road Community Church.
After the service, enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits. This is a great way to meet people. You can also take time to find your bearings in the church. All refreshments are free. The Dodds Road Community Church ensures accessibility. There is wheelchair access. A disabled toilet is in the main foyer.
The main service at Dodds Road Community Church begins at 10.30 am. A team member offers a warm welcome. Sung worship follows, led by the worship team. Typically, there are two or three songs lasting about 20 minutes. Someone might pray aloud or read a passage from the Bible. People sometimes share what they believe God is saying to the church family. One of the leaders gives a Bible-based sermon. It offers guidance that can be applied to everyday life. A final worship song concludes the service. News and notices about church life are shared. Sometimes, there is an opportunity to receive prayer.
Dodds Road Community Church has a great program for kids of all ages. There is a creche for children aged 0 months to 5 years. Children under 6 months must be with a parent or guardian. Sunday School caters to children aged 5 to 10 years. Youth activities are available for 11 to 15 year olds every other week. Children join their parents at the start of the service for the welcome and songs. The church values worshipping God together as a family. After the songs, the younger members go to their groups. Activities include bible stories and music. They also enjoy prayer, crafts, and fun games.
