Deep within the Forbidden Kingdom of Chessington World of Adventures lies Tomb Blaster. Are you ready to face the curse of the high priest? Tomb Blaster wasn’t always about curses and high priests. It started as a journey into the 5th Dimension with a TV repair robot. From 1987 to 1993, this Mack Rides creation entertained guests with its unique storyline. Then, in 1994, the Forbidden Kingdom emerged, transforming the ride into Terror Tomb. This horror-themed experience followed Abdab, a tomb robber seeking treasure. He met a grim fate, captured by mummies and sacrificed in a hard rock concert finale. Tomb Blaster arose from Terror Tomb’s ashes in 2002. Many of the original sets remained, but the story shifted to a laser-gun-blasting adventure through crypts and snake pits. In 2020, Tomb Blaster received another makeover. A new narrative emerged, tasking riders with breaking the high priest’s curse. Armed with laser guns, you’ll board your utility vehicle and journey through the tomb. Compete for the highest score by blasting mummies and other targets. Did you know that children under 1.1 meters must be accompanied by an adult? Beware the giant cobra! It resides where the final concert scene of Terror Tomb once played out. Tomb Blaster, a thrilling adventure evolving through time, awaits you within Chessington’s Forbidden Kingdom.
