His son R\u00e1day Gedeon transformed the estate. Between 1755 and 1774 he converted it into a beautiful baroque castle. R\u00e1day Gedeon hired Andr\u00e1s Mayerhoffer to oversee this ambitious project. Mayerhoffer was also the architect of the Grassalkovich Castle in G\u00f6d\u00f6ll\u0151.
