The \u4fdd\u5149\u795e\u793e is a local shrine in the Yoshina area. Its exact founding date remains a mystery. Legend says a fisherman named Rokuro Sabei-mon discovered a radiant stone at the bottom of the sea.

He discarded it but the stone returned to his net when he cast it elsewhere. Believing this stone to be auspicious he enshrined it. This act became the origin of the \u4fdd\u5149\u795e\u793e’s name.

Kogawa Takaakira, a figure revered at the \u4fdd\u5149\u795e\u793e, dedicated a Renga. This is a collaborative poem of 100 Horaku verses. He did this during the Bunroku war in 1592. His contribution sought good fortune and longevity.

Three volumes of this Renga exist. They were created in 1539, 1557 and 1560. These precious volumes are still preserved within the \u4fdd\u5149\u795e\u793e today.
