“A Tradition of Excellence” is not just a motto. It is alive here at Keller High School. Keller High School has been educating students in Keller Texas since 1985. Before that, Keller High School was located at what is now Keller Middle School.

Keller High School serves a large area. It includes students from Keller, Southlake, Colleyville, and Westlake. Keller High School even includes students from North Richland Hills. The school’s colors are navy and Vegas gold. The mascot is the Keller Indians.

The Keller High School Band is a source of pride. The band placed 2nd at the 1999 Texas 4A State Marching Band Contest. In 2018, the Keller High School Marching Band represented Texas at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

The Keller High School Choir has also achieved great success. In 2014, the Keller Chanteurs Varsity Treble Choir became the first choral ensemble from Keller ISD to perform at the TMEA Convention.

Keller High School’s athletic programs are also impressive. The Keller High School Athletics Department recognizes outstanding athletes. They have made the KISD community proud. One such athlete is Greg Porter. He was a standout in football and baseball. He later played both sports at Texas A&M University. In 1998, Porter was named Dallas Morning News Athlete of the Year. Charles “Bubba” Thornton graduated from Keller High School in 1965. He was an All-District performer in football, basketball, and track.

The Keller High School Softball team has won multiple state championships. They won in 2003, 2005, 2016, and 2017. The 2005 team was especially dominant. They were named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association/USA Today National Champions.

The Keller High Boys Swimming and Diving team has also achieved greatness. They won state championships in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, they broke 4 National Records. Maximus Williamson and Cooper Lucas are U.S. National Teamers from Keller High School.

Many notable alumni have walked the halls of Keller High School. These alumni include professional athletes and politicians. Max Muncy is a professional baseball player. Davis Webb is an NFL quarterback. Giovanni Capriglione is a politician. Brittany Broski is a media personality and YouTuber.
