Today, the park is a Metropolitan Open Land of local importance for nature conservation and a site of archaeological importance. The park, named after William Pymme who owned the estate in the 14th century, boasts a Victorian walled garden. You’ll find there a restored pond. The walled garden and its pond are a delightful spot to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. The park also contains a lake, a bandstand, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a children’s playground. If you look closely, you might see the Pymmes Brook Trail following the approximate course of the river that runs through the park. The park has undergone major changes due to the widening of the North Circular Road in the 1990s. It has been improved with new gardens, walkways, and facilities in 1997. You can access the park via Silver Street, where you will also find the Silver Street railway station.
