Let’s rewind to the mid-1950s. Brøndbyøster was booming. The area around Nygård farm became housing to handle Copenhagen’s growing population. Nygårdsskolen opened as part of this growth.
Fast forward to today. Nygårdsskolen is now UCN 10. klasseskolen. UCN10 is a school for students in their 10th year. It gives them a strong base for their education and life. UCN10 helps them grow academically, personally, and socially.
Today, UCN10 has about 220 students. They are divided into different classes including special needs classes. Many people work here. There are teachers and leaders. There are also support staff and technical staff. All work to make a good place to learn.
