The mosque was relocated from a reservoir area. This area was next to a cemetery. About 350 bodies were moved.
The mosque’s renovation was completed on October 15 2022. Anies Baswedan inaugurated the mosque the day before the end of his term. He expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the project.
