Was this very spot in Ealing once a football ground? It’s true! Before Little Ealing Primary School welcomed its first pupils, Brentford Football Club players graced this very ground. Imagine the cheers, the goals, the thrill of the game right where we stand. Little Ealing Primary School, established in 1905, has witnessed the changing landscape of Ealing for over a century. It has educated generations, with some children today having parents and grandparents who once walked these halls. Initially, two separate schools, the first and middle, merged in 1993 to become the Little Ealing Primary School we know today. Throughout its existence, the school has seen a lot. It has adapted to the shifting demographics of the community, embraced evolving curriculums, and navigated the changing landscape of education. The school’s history is not just confined to its classrooms. Its buildings, a blend of Victorian architecture and modern design, tell a story of their own. Picture the original structure, then imagine the addition of a dedicated art and music block. Finally, envision the latest addition – new classrooms for Years 5 and 6 and a state-of-the-art canteen, all completed in 2012.
