Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines has approved a restoration project for this unique piece. The project aims to restore Le repas des Géants to its original aesthetic, potentially using different materials to enhance its longevity. The restoration will stay true to Schultze’s vision, requiring approval from the artist or their estate. This year is dedicated to planning, with the actual restoration set for 2021. So, while you won’t see giants dining here, the spirit of Le repas des Géants will live on, offering a visual feast for generations to come.
