Little did he know he would one day lend his name to this very building at TU Dresden, the Mohr-Bau. His early work with the Royal Hanoverian State Railways laid the foundation for his groundbreaking contributions to structural analysis. He designed one of Germany’s first steel bridges, employing a distinct triangular truss design. Mohr’s genius wasn’t confined to practical engineering.
