H23 Housing and Accomodation Centre is more than just an office. It is the heart of student residential services. This two-story building plays a crucial role. It helps students find suitable housing both on and off campus.
Inside H23, friendly staff assist students with all accommodation inquiries. They handle applications for on-campus hostels. They also provide information about off-campus apartments and housing options.
USM offers various hostel accommodations. Shared rooms are available at RM 120 per month. Single rooms cost RM 240 per month. These fees are subject to change. Family accommodations are also available at Bakti Permai. One-room units are RM 350 and two-room units are RM 450.

Living in USM hostels is convenient. Everything you need is within walking distance. Hostels provide basic furniture. This includes a bed, table, chair, and wardrobe.
Keep in mind that pillows and linen are not provided. Hostels lack kitchens. Facilities for boiling water are available. Coin-operated laundry machines are also available.
Free WiFi is provided in the hostels. However, there might be blind spots. You might not always get internet access.
If you prefer off-campus living, H23 can help. N Park Condominium, E Park Condominium, and Sunny Ville Condominium are nearby options. Gambier Heights is also a popular choice.
Remember that water and electric bills are usually not included in off-campus rent. Expect to pay a deposit. It’s typically one month’s rent in advance.
