In September 1995 Reverend Leland Seese began his service here. He saw the congregation flourish. He noted the establishment of vital spiritual friendships. Leland and his wife Lisa Konick are proud that all six of their adult children live in Seattle. When not at Mount Baker Park Presbyterian Church, Lee enjoys writing poetry. He has even published a chapbook. It is titled Wherever This All Ends.
Clare Conrad is the Office Manager. She enjoys the good company at Mount Baker Park Presbyterian Church. She also appreciates the humor in the office and choir room. Her passions include music hiking art gardening and reading. Timothy Beggs is the Director of Music Ministries.

The Mount Baker Park Addition has a rich history. The Mount Baker Park Presbyterian Church was designated a historic landmark by the Seattle City Council.
The Mount Baker Park Addition faced challenges of racial injustice. The Hunter Tract Improvement Company filed a lawsuit against Samuel and Susie Stone. The Stones were a Black couple who bought land in the addition. Attorney Andrew Black defended the Stones. He won the case. This victory helped break down racial barriers.
The Mount Baker Neighborhood experienced racial tension. Franklin High School became a focal point. Black students protested discrimination. This led to significant changes at the school.
