Founded in 1997, Lake Hills Congregational Church aimed to redefine the church experience for Austin. Lake Hills Congregational Church isn’t just a building. It’s a community united by faith in Jesus. Pastors Mac and Julie Richard envisioned a vibrant hub, impacting lives and fostering unity. Their vision: “to grow the community of Christ one life at a time.” This vision permeates every aspect of Lake Hills Congregational Church, from its Sunday services at 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to its numerous outreach programs. Mac, a dynamic communicator and teacher, founded SPUR Leadership in 2009. This organization equips Christ-centered leaders in various spheres of life. Julie, with her background in education and ministry, established Fearless Mom in 2014. This platform empowers mothers to raise their children in a faith-filled environment. The Richards, with their five adult children, embody the spirit of family that defines Lake Hills Congregational Church. They believe in the transformative power of a close-knit community. Lake Hills Congregational Church emphasizes small groups. They see these groups as vital for prayer, service, and shared experiences. They believe true transformation happens in these intimate settings. The church’s core beliefs are deeply rooted in Scripture. They welcome newcomers and those seeking to deepen their faith. Lake Hills Congregational Church is more than just a Sunday gathering. It’s a place for connection, growth, and belonging.
