The governance of London Design and Engineering UTC is transparent. Anne Heal is the Chair of Trustees. Several trustees contribute to the college’s leadership. These include Hassan Abdalla and Sharon Therese Duffy. Caroline Kennett and Parvez Akhter Sheikh also serve as trustees.

London Design and Engineering UTC is part of a network. It includes the Chelmsford Diocese Educational Trust. Costain Ltd, Skanska UK PLC and Thames Water Utilities Ltd are also members. The University of East London is also a member.
