Guillaume Vicomte of Marseille and his family made further donations in 1045.
However by 1362 the chapel had fallen into ruin. Bishop Guillaume Sudre found it dilapidated. It had become home to wild animals. Yet the village slowly recovered. By the 18th century the current \u00c9glise Saint-Just was built. Modifications followed in 1837.
Saint-Just is named after Just of Beauvais. He was a martyred child from Auxerre in Burgundy. He died in Beauvais Picardy during the reign of Diocletian. His feast day is celebrated on October 18.
