Have you ever walked into a library and felt a burst of color? Galten Bibliotek is not your average library. Of course, you’ll find shelves stacked with books, the comforting scent of old paper, and the quiet hum of focused minds. But look closer. In January and February, the walls come alive with vibrant acrylic paintings. They’re the work of Etly Birgitte Vestergaard, a local artist who uses a technique called acrylic pouring. Imagine swirling colors, each one telling a story. These paintings are a testament to the library’s dedication to showcasing local talent and bringing a touch of the extraordinary to the everyday. Galten Bibliotek is more than just a repository of knowledge. It’s a vibrant hub where art, community, and stories intertwine.
