Right here at Sportpark Eschen-Mauren. This multi-sport complex in Eschen has a rich history. It has been a hub of sporting activity since 1975.

Sportpark Eschen-Mauren is the largest sports facility in the Unterland. It sits on the border of Eschen and Mauren. The park offers many sports.

You can find three football fields here. One meets international standards. There is also a Vita-Parcour. You will also find a shooting range and a tennis facility. The Tennis Club Eschen-Mauren has five indoor and outdoor courts.

USV Eschen-Mauren calls this stadium home. They compete in the Swiss 1. Liga. The club has won the Liechtenstein Cup five times.

Sportpark Eschen-Mauren hosted some important matches. Three group stage matches of the 2003 UEFA European Under-19 Championship took place here. In 2010, it hosted six group stage matches of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

Before 1998, this was Liechtenstein’s national stadium. It held 6000 spectators. 500 seats were covered. The stadium was renovated in 2005.

The complex offers even more. There is a mass storage area with 40 beds in three rooms. The main building includes a small-bore shooting room. It has 11 shooting ranges at a distance of 10 meters.

Outside, you will find training pitches. There is also a small football field. For track and field enthusiasts, there is a 100m sprint track. You will also find long jump, javelin, shot put, and high jump facilities. An inline hockey field adds to the variety.

Sportpark Eschen-Mauren also features five outdoor tennis courts. An indoor tennis court is also available.

The municipalities of Eschen and Mauren have a combined population of just under 8000.

Note the Papal memorial. It commemorates Pope John Paul’s visit on September 8, 1985.
