Marriott School. A beacon of education in Quezon City. The name echoes with a legacy of nurturing young minds since its humble beginnings in 1986. Back then, it was known as the Community Learning Center, a preschool program affiliated with the National Federation of Women’s Club. Under the guidance of Herminia F. Avellanosa, the school flourished, sending forth graduates well-prepared for elementary school. Marriott School recognized the growing need for quality education at an affordable price. In 2000, it expanded to include elementary grades, one through four. By 2002, Marriott School offered a complete elementary curriculum up to grade six. The Department of Education granted full recognition for the elementary program in January 2004. Marriott School continued its growth. A new building was constructed in 2009. This allowed the school to open its secondary education program. Starting with first to third year high school in the 2009-2010 school year, Marriott School quickly expanded to offer a full high school curriculum. In May 2011, the Department of Education granted full recognition for the secondary program. Marriott School’s commitment to the community deepened in 2016. It became a grantee of the Department of Education’s Educational Service Contracting (ESC) Program. This program helps alleviate overcrowding in public secondary schools by providing subsidies for students to attend private high schools. Marriott School has been a cornerstone of the community. It provides a quality education to countless students, helping them reach their full potential.
