The mosque’s logo reflects this aspiration. A miniature dome sits atop the design. Two holes represent the two kalimat syahadat. These are declarations of faith in Allah and the Prophet Muhammad. Five smaller holes symbolize the five daily prayers. They also represent the five pillars of Islam: the declaration of faith prayer charity pilgrimage and fasting during Ramadan.
The logo also includes an atom within a reactor. This symbolizes the many nuclear scientists who gather at Masjid Dzarratul Muthmainnah. They strive to balance their faith with their scientific pursuits. The green color of the logo represents a healthy well-managed and prestigious organization. The entire logo is shaped like a pen nib. This represents the scholarly activities of the Muslim intellectuals living in Batan Indah.
Masjid Dzarratul Muthmainnah was built over 33 years ago. It needs renovations to better serve the community. The renovations will address the needs of senior citizens and people with disabilities. Improvements to safety and security are also planned. The mosque’s landscape will be updated for a more environmentally friendly and attractive look.
The Yayasan Badan Wakaf Masjid Dzarratul Muthmainnah (YBW-MDM) is overseeing the renovations. They obtained the necessary permits from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The renovated Masjid Dzarratul Muthmainnah will become a two-story building. It will serve as a place of worship a community center an educational institution a place for social gatherings and a hub for religious activities. It will also be a child-friendly and accessible mosque for people with disabilities and the elderly.
The design emphasizes eco-friendliness. It will incorporate features like passive design kinetic facades water recycling solar panels and rainwater harvesting. This aligns with the concept of an ECOMOSQUE and Net Zero Carbon. The renovations will also use recycled materials and waste management strategies. Masjid Dzarratul Muthmainnah is more than a mosque.
