Forty years ago two small churches merged. They began meeting at this very property. Silver Creek Family Church’s story is one of growth and community impact. A food bank started in a classroom. It now serves thousands annually. There were challenging times. Vision was lost. Passion faded. Then three years ago a transformation began. A new church Seattle Family Church sought a new way to do ministry. They lacked a permanent home. They set up and took down services weekly. A strong bond formed within this dedicated community. Two years ago these two churches merged. Silver Creek Community Church and Seattle Family Church became one. Silver Creek Family Church was born. There were adjustments. Not everyone stayed. But Silver Creek Family Church is thriving. Sunday attendance is steady and rising. An intern program helps develop future leaders. Volunteers pour their hearts into various ministries. The church sponsors children worldwide. Connect groups build relationships. The church board is united and committed. Silver Creek Family Church isn’t just about numbers.
