Construction on Tour To-Lyon began in 2019. It was completed in 2023. The project cost a staggering 600 million euros. Apicil Group a major player in the French insurance market secured a deal with the developer Vinci Immobilier. They purchased the entire 66000 square meters of office space for approximately 500 million euros. This illustrates the scale of the investment and the building’s importance to the city’s economy.
The official launch of Tour To-Lyon was a grand affair. Gerard Collomb the Mayor of Lyon was present. Dominique Perrault the architect behind this stunning structure was also there. Philippe Barret CEO of Apicil Group joined them for the symbolic laying of the foundation stone. This event marked a significant milestone for Lyon’s urban development.
