“Founded by David Miranda in Brazil,” someone whispers. This is Dios es Amor. It is a place of faith. It offers healing and hope to all. This church began its journey in 1962. David Miranda dedicated his life to spreading salvation. He preached divine healing. He shared the liberation of souls. His message of Jesus Christ reached the world.
Today, Ereni Miranda, his wife, leads the church. Dios es Amor continues its mission under her guidance. Here in Montevideo, Dios es Amor extends a warm invitation. You can attend daily gatherings. Share your faith. They will pray for you. The church is located at Pza. Cagancha 1129. It is in the former Cine Plaza.
Dios es Amor has over 100 congregations nationwide. They began in Uruguay in 1986. It all started in Montevideo. Then, it expanded inland. The church is a non-profit Christian association. It originated as a split from the Igreja Pentecostal Brasil para Cristo. A key difference is its use of radio for outreach. Radio broadcasts began in 1987. They used CX 10 Radio Continente.
“La Voz de la Liberación” is their radio program. The Iglesia Pentecostal Dios es Amor is committed to serving its community. They aim to do so in the best way possible. The pastor here is José Manuel Jaimes.
