Born in Bonn in 1963, Dr. Jürgen Römer’s story intertwines with this city. He also trained in sports traumatology and arthroscopic joint surgery at the Clinic for Sports Injuries of Sport Aid NRW-Hellersen. He worked with Dr. Peter Schäferhoff, team doctor for FC Cologne and the Cologne Sharks, at the Klinik am Ring. He also served as a senior physician at the PAN Clinic with R. Strümper. Dr. Römer eventually returned to his roots in Bonn. Today, he practices at his office on Karl-Finkelnburg-Straße, focusing on conservative orthopaedics and sports medicine. He continues to be deeply involved in the sports community, serving as a supervising physician for the country performance center for volleyball at the Olympic training center in Bonn.
