Nathan Hale Elementary School serves around 501 students. These students range from kindergarten through sixth grade. Nathan Hale also supports students in self-contained Autism Spectrum Disorder classrooms. The school is home to more than 500 students and 85 staff members.

At Nathan Hale Elementary School, positive behavior is key. They use PBIS. That is Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports. The 3B’s guide student behavior here. Students must be safe, responsible, and respectful. Students can earn rewards for good behavior. These rewards include keycards and puzzles. This year they are giving a “Purple Person Award”. The award comes from the story, “The World Needs More Purple People.”

The Parent Teacher Association at Nathan Hale is very active. It supports the academic programs. The PTA sponsors a science fair. The Hale PTA also runs events. These include Movie Night, Birthday Books, Holiday Shop, and an Ice Cream Social/Book Fair.

Nathan Hale teachers provide many enrichment opportunities. There are before and after school clubs. Garden Club, Production Club, and Battle of the Books are examples. A full range of special services are available to students. All children can access early childhood programs. Each elementary school has gifted resource services. Eligible children can attend the magnet school too.

The school colors are purple and gray. The school mascot is the wolf. The school is “Home of the Wolf Pack.” They are “Pack Strong!”

Nathan Hale has many club offerings. These are for students in all grade levels. The staff supports students and their families. They help them in their educational journey. They put Hale students first. They received the 54 Blue Apple Award.
