He sought to provide guidance and support to young men in London. That initial spark ignited a global movement, reaching Germany in 1848. They want to be a beacon of hope and positive influence in their neighborhood. The CVJM Bonn’s mission echoes the Paris Basis. This guiding principle unites YMCAs globally: To connect young men who recognize Jesus Christ as their God and Savior. They strive to live as his disciples. They aim to spread the word of their Master. While originating as an association for young men, the CVJM has evolved. Today, it welcomes everyone. Men and women, boys and girls from all nations, denominations, and social backgrounds. The CVJM Bonn is a vibrant hub of activity. It offers programs for children, youth, families, and adults. Their youth center opens three days a week. Kids and teens come for games, fun, and a sense of belonging. They are accepted for who they are. The CVJM Bonn also nurtures adults’ spiritual growth through various programs. House groups meet regularly, offering intimate settings for fellowship. A group for people over 50 gathers monthly. The Y-Crew, for those aged 18-27, alternates spiritual discussions with exciting activities. Crossroad welcomes people aged 25 and older for discussions and social events.
