Founded in 2000, zeitraumexit emerged from the fusion of two artistic powerhouses: Zeitraum Büro für Kunst and EX!T Ausgangspunkt Theater. This union gave birth to a dynamic space that embraces a fascinating blend of visual and performing arts. Zeitraumexit found its first home in the heart of Mannheim’s Neckarstadt-Ost district. But the call for a more expansive platform led them to the historic Kaufmannmühle in 2007. This former corn mill, now a protected monument in the Jungbusch district, provided the zeitraumexit with a sprawling canvas. Two ateliers buzz with creative energy, a theatre space with an intimate capacity of 60 awaits its audience, and a spacious exhibition hall stands ready to showcase artistic visions. The courtyard, transformed into an open-air stage, becomes a conduit between art and the elements. Zeitraumexit, fueled by a passion for pushing boundaries, consistently strives to present about 14 events annually, captivating audiences for approximately 100 days a year.
