The bright red “You Are Here” logo isn’t painted directly onto the surface. It’s formed by strategically placed red splashes on individual signs. This clever design makes the message clear when viewed head-on, but disappears when seen from the side. And what about that bright red bench? It’s not just for resting. Interestingly, to capture the full effect of the “You Are Here” message with someone sitting on the bench, the photographer needs to stand in the middle of the street.
