Inaugurated in September 1994 the Yeh Art Gallery is St. John’s University’s public face for art. The Yeh Art Gallery is located in the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. This hall is a postmodern landmark on the university campus.
The Yeh Art Gallery serves students, faculty, and the surrounding community. It emphasizes supporting marginalized artists. The gallery also supports artists who promote social action.
Let’s talk about “Gracias A Dios: The Art of the Cevallos Brothers”. The Yeh Art Gallery celebrated this exhibition with a new book. The 96-page book contains archival photos, essays, and interviews. It also features the Cevallos Brothers’ extraordinary hand-painted signs.
