Did you know Xã Nhơn Thành Trung boasts a rich history? It wasn’t always part of Tân An City. After 1975 it belonged to Tân Trù District. Then things changed dramatically. On March 11 1977 Tân Trù and Châu Thành Districts merged creating Tân Châu District. Nhơn Thành Trung became part of Tân Châu. But the changes didn’t stop there. On September 19 1980 Tân Châu was renamed Vàm Cỏ District. Nhơn Thành Trung found itself under Vàm Cỏ’s administration.
The story of Xã Nhơn Thành Trung continues. On January 14 1983 a significant event took place. A government decree incorporated Nhơn Thành Trung into Tân An Township. It was a major shift in its administrative status. This wasn’t the final chapter. March 24 1994 brought further adjustments. Part of Nhơn Thành Trung’s land and population were used to create Ward 5. This significantly reduced Nhơn Thành Trung’s size. The remaining area measured 482.85 hectares with a population of 5823.
Finally on August 24 2009 Tân An Township achieved city status. Xã Nhơn Thành Trung officially became part of Tân An City. This marked the culmination of many years of administrative changes. Today Nhơn Thành Trung thrives as one of Tân An City’s five wards Bình Trung 1 Bình Trung 2 Nhơn Thuận Nhơn Trí 1 and Nhơn Trí 2. It stands as a testament to its resilience adaptability and enduring spirit. The quiet community has witnessed significant political shifts. It quietly remained steadfast through it all.
