Then, in 1965, the district was dissolved, absorbed into Tân Uyên District. Yet, the name Xã Hiếu Liêm persists, a stubborn echo of what once was. Xã Hiếu Liêm stands as a testament to the ever-shifting tides of history. In 2004, on November 17th, Hiếu Liêm was reborn as a commune. It carries a unique significance, a blend of old and new. The commune occupies a substantial area, about 45.50 square kilometers. As of 2021, over 3,000 souls called Xã Hiếu Liêm home. This is not just a place on a map.
