In November 2009, a phoenix rose from the ashes. Not a literal phoenix, of course, but something equally dramatic. The Woori Capital Art Hall emerged, transformed from the former Yeokdo Stadium within Seoul’s Olympic Park. The two-year renovation breathed new life into this space. Now, the Woori Capital Art Hall stands as a testament to the power of transformation. This 1,184-seat venue pulsates with energy. It primarily hosts dazzling musicals. However, the Woori Capital Art Hall doesn’t limit itself. The stage welcomes plays, vibrant dance performances, and both classical and modern music concerts. Imagine the echoes of weightlifters replaced by the soaring melodies of a musical score. In 2010, the Woori Capital Art Hall presented the historical musical “Hong Gil Dong”. The hall even hosted the Super Junior K.R.Y. concert in February 2011. Woori Capital Art Hall continues to evolve, a vibrant hub for the arts in Seoul. It offers a diverse array of performances for every taste.
