Why did a handful of families gather in 1978 to establish Woodland Park Bible Church? Here in San Marcos, their vision took root. They dreamed of a church where everyone belonged, regardless of their background. Woodland Park Bible Church was founded on the radical idea of inclusion. It welcomed people of every personal history, family dynamic, ethnicity, and gender. This commitment to belonging remains at the heart of Woodland Park Bible Church today. The church’s focus is clear: Jesus Christ. The members of Woodland Park Bible Church have found hope in Jesus. They want to share that same freedom with as many people as possible. Their vision extends beyond the church walls. Woodland Park Bible Church is dedicated to serving San Marcos and demonstrating Christ’s love through tangible actions. This church isn’t just a building. It’s a family committed to loving each other and their community. Their motto, “You Fit Here!”, isn’t just a slogan. It’s a promise. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, Woodland Park Bible Church welcomes you. They are saving a seat for you. You truly do fit here.
