The congregation purchased the property from the Long Island Baptist Association. They also adopted the name Woodhaven Baptist Church, solidifying their identity as an independent entity. A new chapter unfolded in 2003. The Woodhaven Baptist Church merged with the All Nations Bible Baptist Church of Elmhurst. This union brought together two congregations with a shared vision. The result was the All Nations Baptist Church of Woodhaven. The church’s commitment extends beyond its walls. It actively serves the community through various outreach programs. These include free English classes, a food pantry, and a clothing ministry. The church has also played a vital role in establishing new churches throughout Queens. This demonstrates its dedication to spreading faith and fostering spiritual growth. The original church building, erected in 1898, cost $3500 and could accommodate 250 people. It was built under the leadership of Rev. John Donaldson, the church’s first pastor, who served for 35 years. The current building we see today replaced that original structure in 1910.
