Originally, Bucheon had administrative districts. These divisions were abolished in July 2016. Bucheon became a unified city. Years later, in 2024, the districts were revived. The Bucheon municipal government brought them back on January 1.
Wonmi-ro sits within the area once known as Wonmi District. This district contains several “Dongs” or administrative districts. These include Sosa-dong and Chunui-dong. Dodang-dong and Yakdae-dong also fall within its boundaries. You will find Simgok 1 to 3 Dong here. Then there are Wonmi 1 and 2 Dong, and Yeokgok 1 and 2 Dong. The district also includes Jung 1 to 4 Dong and Sang 1 to 3 Dong.
