Wings of Healing Apostolic Church

Founded in January 2006 Wings of Healing Apostolic Church has a powerful story. It began with a simple mission to spread God’s love and compassion. The church aimed to help those whose spirits were downcast to rise again and flourish. Initially services were held in community buildings and nursing homes. On Easter Sunday 2007 the church held its first service in its new building. Growth continued leading to the construction of a new sanctuary a few years later. The church is active in the community. It works with local homeless shelters and nursing homes. Wings of Healing also distributes food and clothing baskets. Pastor Chuck and Sis Amanda have played key roles in the church’s development. Pastor Chuck earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Christian Leadership. Sis Amanda works as a nurse. They’ve been married since 1999 and have three children. They believe in helping people find peace and forgiveness. Wings of Healing Apostolic Church is part of the Apostolic Brethren Inc. This organization holds an annual convention youth camp and youth retreat. Pastor Chuck has held leadership positions within the Apostolic Brethren. He served as Minister of Music and later as Secretary-Treasurer. The church continues to grow and serve its community. It stands as a beacon of hope and healing. Its impact reaches far beyond its walls. The dedication and compassion of its leadership and members make it a vital part of San Antonio’s spiritual landscape.
