The story of Willowbrook Community Church is deeply intertwined with The Brook Church. The Brook began in 1995 in a humble setting a pastor’s living room. A small group of believers dreamed of a church focused on authentic faith. They wanted life-giving relationships in Christ. Their vision real people finding real hope in the real world resonated deeply.
The Brook’s growth led them to a larger space in the Willowbrook area. By 2008 they had found a 10 acre campus in nearby Tomball. This fast growing community in northwest Houston became their new home. The church experienced periods of transition. Pastor Mike Ayers served for 25 years. Pastor Jim Botts then led the church. Eventually Robby Pollard became the lead pastor in 2022. In a remarkable turn of events The Brook Church and Village Park Church united. They became one family under Robby Pollard’s leadership.
