Walking the halls of Westfield High School is like stepping back in time. The school stands on a sprawling campus north of downtown Houston. It opened its doors as Spring High School – South in 1976. But in 1981, it was transformed into the Westfield High School we know today. This name change was a tribute to a long-gone community called Westfield. This space is a bustling hive of activity. From bustling classrooms to sporting events, there’s always something going on. Over the years, Westfield has cultivated a culture of academic excellence and extracurricular involvement. Notable alumni are Kelly Rowland, former Destiny’s Child member, and Ed Oliver, an NFL defensive tackle. This school embodies a spirit of ambition and community. It is a place where dreams take flight and lives are changed.
