If you want to sing in the choir, arrive early. Choir practice is at 8:30 am on Sunday.
Wesley Oak had a workshop. It was called Exploring Our Sacred Calling. It used the enneagram. It explored finding our sacred calling. This applied to both individuals and the church.
There is a weekly book study. It is on Sundays at 1:00 pm. It takes place in the Joy Cottage. The current book is John Pavlovitz’s “Worth Fighting For.”
Second Sunday Seekers meet monthly. They meet at J.J. and Parker’s home. It is a place to discuss spiritual matters. People discuss theological, religious matters too. It is a non-judgmental and safe setting.
Wesley Oak supports a food pantry. People donate nonperishable food items. The church delivers them to the Food Bank.

Wesley Oak is sister churches with Asbury Memorial Church. Asbury Memorial is on Henry Street in Savannah. This means you can participate in diverse offerings. These are available through Asbury. You can worship in the small chapel on the Wesley Oak Campus. Or, visit the bigger church on the Asbury campus.
Wesley Oak Church and Asbury Memorial Church voted to leave the UMC South Georgia Conference. They merged into one church.
Asbury Memorial and Wesley Oak retain their properties. Each church holds Sunday morning worship at a different time.
