Wentworth was created under apartheid. The colour of your skin determined where you were supposed to live and how you were supposed to live. This was a painful time for many South Africans. The forced removals and segregation brought heartbreak, but Wentworth was born out of this sorrow. The houses here were small and nicknamed Noddy Houses. They were small and simple, but they were a haven for the people who lived there.
